Snik's "Nocturnal" exhibition

This November 2011, contemporary urban artist Snik and Delamain Arts will present Nocturnal, a collection of work exploring the essence of the night.
The exhibition witnesses the merging of textures and materials, a fusion of techniques and a study of the beauty that can be seen once the darkness falls.

Created with painstaking attention to detail, the artist uses graffiti spray and stencils to transform canvases into a fluid motion of colours and greyscale. Working with delicate techniques of textures and layering, Snik’s compositions are regarded as fine art with urban roots. Each piece is classically framed and consists of an intense build of eight to nine layers of spray with darkness being the prevailing theme of the collection. Seamlessly transitioning from urban streets to a gallery space, Nocturnal is a celebration of the night, drawing the viewer into a dark and captivating world.

The exhibition will see eighteen one-off pieces of varying sizes, a release of 4 mixed media giclee prints, installations and a very special set of collaboration canvases with Danish graffiti artist Morten Andersen. Snik has exhibited globally in Melbourne, London, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin, as well as being one of the few commissioned artists to paint at the Royal Albert hall.

Nocturnal will be his debut solo show in London with Delamain Arts. Venue: 50 Redchurch Street, London, E2 7DP Starts: Wednesday 2nd November Ends:Sunday 6th November 2011

We are very excited and proud to show works of Tian during the 4th edition of our "Modern Pin-Ups" exhibition.
Tian emerged from the underground, rather than Art school and has build an incredible reputation and respect around his work, worldwide.
We have no doubt the British public will remember Tian from the Cans festival 2008 and that a splendid welcome will be given to his pieces.

"Shade of blue and brown" by Ian boyd Walker (Pin-Up exhibition)

Ian Boyd Walker is a British artist who generally use his spray cans on large walls in the West region of England. For his second appearance in our "Modern Pin-Ups" exhibition, Ian is displaying two versions of the same stencil, representing Kelly Brook... I must admit I was certain it was Farah Fawcett but I was wrong!
Each canvas is £350 with free delivery in the U.K. For more information, contact Antoine Becaglia at info@fineartegallery.co.uk

STF - Moscato at Gallery Daeppen - "Co-Errances" exhibition

We love STF (Stephane Moscato)'s work. First and foremost because the french artist is ultra-talented and its compositions are ever so "wonderland" themed but also because the artist is a very nice guy with a humorist-sarcastic way of seeing things.

Once again, Gallery Guillaume Daeppen in Switzerland organise an exhibition "Co-Errances" (a word play between "co-errands" and "coherent") with a selection of canvases and works on book covers... Not unusual to paint and draw on book covers but STF does it in a superb manner, that somehow relates to the work of book binding craftsmanship. Moscato says that: "Two reasons why I use book covers as a support: texture is very similar to canvas but also books are linked to the transmission of knowledge, culture and imagination. A book is a symbol for science and wisdom".

If you live close to Bale in Switzerland, go and visit this super exhibition by STF.
